What is a life coach?

A life Coach is a motivator and your personal cheerleader who will help to encourage and guide you to your vision. A life Coach will work with you to identify your strengths and help you to build on them to ensure they are maximized. Concurrently, tools will be used to work through any roadblocks/weaknesses which are preventing you from moving forward.


What are the benefits of life coaching?

Life coaching is focused squarely on the future, not on analyzing the past as it would in psychotherapy. With a life coach you will:

How does life coaching work?

Life Coaches begin by getting to know you, where you are now and where you want to be. Since Life Coaching is results driven, the next step is to start setting the first goals of your plan. As your plan begins to take shape, goals and exercises are set accordingly using the appropriate tools.There is no clear answer as to what day per se your goal will be reached, but with patience, dedication and taking action, you will start to see results with each session, bringing you closer to the bigger picture (very rewarding stuff!).


Do you have to be in a crisis to need a life coach?

No. You just have to have a feeling or a gut-instinct that there’s something in your life that could be better or enhanced with guidance.


Can I still work with my psychotherapist?

Yes. You may continue to examine your past with your Psychotherapist while working towards your goals with a Life Coach. Although the two can work simultaneously, it is not recommended to have the same person for both disciplines.
